Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Ripplic is a Mac application that replicates files, one-way, from a source you choose to cloud destinations you configure. It is designed so that your data never leaves your control.

Data collection

Ripplic collects no data. Period.

Your files

Ripplic reads files only from the sources you explicitly select, and writes them only to the destinations you explicitly configure. Transfers go directly from your Mac to your storage providers. Your files are never routed through, cached on, or visible to any server operated by us.

Credentials

Access keys and OAuth tokens for your storage providers are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac, protected by the system. They are used solely to communicate with the providers you configured and are never transmitted anywhere else. Deleting a destination removes its credentials.

Network access

The only network activity Ripplic performs is communication with the storage providers you configure — for example, uploading files to your Amazon S3 bucket or reading changes from your Google Drive. Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy once files arrive there.

Local settings

Ripplic stores its settings (such as your pipelines and sync state) locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container. Deleting the app removes them.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at ripplic.app/privacy with a new "last updated" date.
